What Did Stana Katic Do After 'Castle'?

It sounds as if Katic has no hard feelings, and being dropped from the show certainly hasn't had an effect on the actress's career, as she moved on to the thriller Absentia, which can be found on Amazon Prime.

In an interview with ET Canada, Katic spoke about moving on after “Castle”, what she missed about the show and her love for the fans.

"I [miss] the fan reaction to the show," Katic told ET Canada. "We had an amazing group of fans, an amazing audience, they were die-hards, I feel like I was really privileged."

In Absentia, Katic plays an FBI agent who's been kept in captivity for six years, only to then be accused of murder when she is finally free. One of the most impressive things about the dark crime thriller is that Katic does all of her own stunts.

She has also been in a couple of movies since Castle. In 2019, Katic was in A Call To Spy, and in 2021, Katic played Wonder Woman in Justice Society: World War II. She continued her role of Wonder Woman in the 2023 sequel film.
