Marvel Rivals has many features built in that allow the player to adapt their settings to their preferences so that they can feel comfortable while playing. Whether it's changing how certain hero abilities work or by altering visual settings, you're able to easily change settings to increase your competitive advantage in a match. However, no change is potentially better than a good reticle, as it can assist greatly in both your natural aim and sense of direction when aiming at enemies.

While a lot of players tend to find simple reticles completely fine, customizing them can be incredibly beneficial, especially for specific heroes where it's clear the reticles weren't completely designed for them. While it can seem intimidating at first when it comes to changing your reticle, using codes makes the process much faster and then, if needed, you can make small adjustments to your own needs after the fact.

If you play Mantis, you may notice a lot of shots you think should hit easily missing, and this is partially due to her height and shooting position compared to the base crosshair Marvel Rivals provides. Mantis is not only a shorter character, but she also shoots from the middle section of her body compared to most characters, which makes the basic crosshair nonideal.

But due to how Luna Snow's primary fire works, it's not as simple to strafe, and this crosshair accounts for that fact.

While Luna Snow does require precise accuracy when you play her, she fires a triple burst shot, which means that strafing can be fairly difficult with the basic crosshair. Adam Warlock

One of the hardest Strategists to get used to, especially early on, is Adam Warlock. While his kit is fairly simple, he requires precise aim with both his main and alternate fire to truly make the most out of everything he can do, otherwise he falls short compared to other Strategists.

Adam Warlock's primary fire is hit scan, which the crosshair accounts for with a simple dot, like most hit scan heroes. However, his alternate fire is not that simple. Not only does it fire multiple shots, which means the player must account for strafing, but it's also not hit scan compared to his primary. When using this crosshair, using the lines on the side to guide your alternate fire allows you to more consistently hit the multiple shots of his bullets.

Namor

Namor is a great hero for countering flankers such as Spider-Man, Iron Fist, and Black Panther, but players can struggle to aim with him due to the unique way his primary fire works. Not only is it rather slow, but it has a slight drop-off, making it hard to consistently get headshots with most tridents thrown.

This Crosshair maintains a yellow dot for short distances and targets that are stagnant, but introduces four diagonal lines, which are pivotal for hitting targets on Namor using this crosshair. By using the lines on the bottom of the crosshair, it should allow you to aim at targets more consistently, even when they're moving sporadically.

Squirrel Girl

Squirrel Girl is a hero that many consider a hero that doesn't require much aim, but that isn't necessarily true. While she is generally less reliant, she can still tactfully aim her shots to hit enemies more consistently, and even use physics to bounce her shot into unique locations.

While it does focus on the alternate fire, it's still perfect for the primary fire as the circle covers most of the reticle, making it great for aiming at enemies, especially when they're over 15 meters away.

Black Panther

This crosshair has three major functions, which involve the yellow dot, the outer circle, and the four inner rectangles. The yellow dot is mostly used for close-range precision, while the outer circle is used to show the general spread of the Human Torches primary. The line you'll be using most of the time are the reticles — specifically the ones on the side, which, when aimed at, help guide primary much easier at mid-long ranges.

Storm

As a character who's consistently is the sky, playing as Storm you might have trouble aiming, especially at faster characters without a proper crosshair. Storm's primary fire is also slightly inconsistent, shooting in different ways every time. Although the difference isn't noticeable without a good crosshair, it can get bothersome at times.

This accounts for strafing and, when aiming at enemies in that area, it will allow you to hit shots you would most likely miss with other, more direct crosshair options. The crosshair also accounts for her secondary fire ability; any target within the circle will get hit by it.

Iron Man

This code provides the perfect balance for Iron Man in terms of allowing proper aim for his unibeam and giving a respectable blast radius for his repulsor blasts. The black line on the left of the reticle will allow the player to use that entire line to track enemies and hit them with the beam, which is quite helpful. This is something that Marvel Rivals didn't originally include, but it makes Iron Man much easier to play, once you recognize that line as being your main focus.
